First thing that you have to determine is the basis of a mind map to distinguish your goal setting. You must identify your focal point of your map in order to choose phase one of your journey.

This organizational tool will help you to separate key factors that are floating around in your brain. The right half of your brain helps you think about music, colors and shapes. The left half is more analytical, helping with math, logic and speech.

The next phase of your agenda should be the main point of your mind map. From there you should be able to derive and pinpoint your next move.

Select a color for each class. For example, you may want to use the following colors with a system like this:

• Orange= History

• Green=Math

• Red=Science

• Yellow= English

• Blue=Geography

• Pink=Technology

Make a mental connection between the color and the class to remember your system. For instance, you might relate the color green to money—to make you think of math.

Sticky notes are useful when doing library research, writing down book and article titles, quotes, brief bibliographical citations, and reminders. If you can’t carry around several packs of sticky notes, then keep white notes and use colored pens.

Highlighters should be used when reading over your notes. In class, take notes as normal—and be sure to date them. Then, at home, read over and highlight in appropriate color. If papers get separated from you folder (or never make it into your folder) you can easily recognize them by the colored highlights.

Labels or round stickers are for your wall calendar. Keep a calendar in your room or office, and place a color-coded sticker on the day that an assignment is due. For instance, on the day you receive a research paper assignment in history class, you should place an orange sticker on the due date. This way, everyone can see an important day approaching, even at a glance.

Color coding can come in useful in a number of ways, even for a very disorganized student. Just think: if you see a random paper floating around you’ll be able to know at a glance if it’s a history note, research paper note, math paper.

Review all of the information. Review the material sent by the school as soon as it arrives. These packets include important information about your child’s teacher, room number, school supply requirements, sign ups for after-school sports and activities, school calendar dates, bus transportation, health and emergency forms, and volunteer opportunities.

Mark your calendar. Make a note of important dates, especially back-to-school nights. This is especially important if you have children in more than one school and need to juggle obligations. Arrange for a babysitter now, if necessary.

Make copies. Make copies of all your child’s health and emergency information for reference. Health forms are typically good for more than a year and can be used again for camps, extracurricular activities, and the following school year.

Buy school supplies early. Try to get the supplies as early as possible and fill the backpacks a week or two before school starts. Older children can help do this, but make sure they use a checklist that you can review. Some teachers require specific supplies, so save receipts for items that you may need to return later.

Re-establish the bedtime and mealtime routines. Plan to re-establish the bedtime and mealtime routines (especially breakfast) at least 1 week before school starts. Prepare your child for this change by talking with your child about the benefits of school routines in terms of not becoming over tired or overwhelmed by school work and activities. Include pre-bedtime reading and household chores if these were suspended during the summer.

Turn off the TV. Encourage your child to play quiet games, do puzzles, flash cards, color, or read as early morning activities instead of watching television. This will help ease your child into the learning process and school routine. If possible, maintain this practice throughout the school year. Television is distracting for many children, and your child will arrive at school better prepared to learn each morning if he or she has engaged in less passive activities.

Designate and clear a place to do homework. Older children should have the option of studying in their room or a quiet area of the house. Younger children usually need an area set aside in the family room or kitchen to facilitate adult monitoring, supervision, and encouragement.

Select a spot to keep backpacks and lunch boxes. Designate a spot for your children to place their school belongings as well as a place to put important notices and information sent home for you to see. Explain that emptying their backpack each evening is part of their responsibility, even for young children.

In today's economy who do you turn to when you NEED to POLISH your Resume` and improve on your Interviewing techniques. In many states there are state employees that are "Suppose" to be trained in this area but in recent developments they do not hold the credentials that are NEEDED for Today's Job Market.

There is a Difference between the two. Being organized is defined as: To put together into an orderly , functional, structured whole. Being prepared is defined as: Made ready or fit or suitable beforehand.

We all have our systematic ways of being organized and prepared for everyday occurrences. Having a set schedule, knowing the time to report to work or school, incorporating set activities that are prone to our lifestyle all involves preparation and organizational skills.

My question is: How prepared and organized are you when it comes to facing the unexpected? Many of us are only organized and prepared when it comes to situations that we have control over.When life takes us on a detour I'm sure that many of us can agree that we are blindsided and become overwhelmed with the events that we are faced with.

For example, when the recession hit the economy we were not prepared for the damaged that took place but over time we all had to make some adjustments that will benefit us for that moment and eventually for our future.

Are you only organized when it comes to organizing your office space, paying bills, labeling your paper files and your household. Or does it extend into your overall lifestyle such as planning your moments of meditation and becoming spiritually centered along with bringing order and focusing your energy on the positives in your life.

Are you prepared to market your talents at any given moment or do you need some time to think things over? We have to remind ourselves to prepare for the unexpected because when its time to make that shift there is no time for preparation.

It may be HARD at times and sometimes we cannot BARE the PAIN!!!! But YOU must realize that if you STAY THE COURSE, BELIEVE, and HAVE FAITH YOUR BREAKTHROUGH will SHINE so BRIGHT and you will have a GRATEFUL TESTIMONY!!!!

It's the First Day of School for many students. Try to be Consistent this year. Make sure you end the school year the way you began the school year. That's with the jitters in your stomach, the joy of returning to school and a New Year to start something NEW. Have a Safe and Fun School Year!!!!

Also some TIPS for the PARENTS:

Reinforce your child’s ability to cope. Give your child a few strategies to manage a difficult situation on his or her own. But encourage your child to tell you or the teacher if the problem persists. Maintain open lines of communication with the school.
Plan to volunteer in the classroom. If possible, plan to volunteer in the classroom at least periodically throughout the year. Doing so helps your child understand that school and family life are linked and that you care about the learning experience. Being in the classroom is also a good way to develop a relationship with your child’s teachers and classmates, and to get firsthand exposure to the classroom environment and routine. Most teachers welcome occasional parent help, even if you cannot volunteer regularly.
Familiarize yourself with the other school professionals. Make an effort to find out who it is in the school or district who can be a resource for you and your child. Learn their roles and how best to access their help if you need them. This can include the principal and front office personnel; school psychologist, counselor, and social worker; the reading specialist, speech therapist, and school nurse; and the after-school activities coordinator.

On June 7, 1979, President Jimmy Carter proclaimed the month of June to be Black Music Month. The idea was originally inspired in 1978 by record mogul (and co-founder of Philadelphia International Records) Kenny Gamble and Ed Wright, a broadcast executive from Cincinnati, Ohio. But little has been known to many Americans that such month-long celebration even existed.

However, for the past 32 years, U. S. Presidents - from Jimmy Carter to Barack Obama - have issued proclamations and held celebrations at the White House in honor of Black Music Month. All across the country and around the world, we acknowledge the legacy of African-American music makers and artists, and we embrace their infinite spirit while celebrating artists of today who are a continuum of the historic journey.

In the United States, Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of African Americans in U.S. history. The event grew out of “Negro History Week,” the brainchild of noted historian Carter G. Woodson and other prominent African Americans. Since 1976, every U.S. president has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month. Other countries around the world, including Canada and the United Kingdom, also devote a month to celebrating black history.
The story of Black History Month begins in 1915, half a century after the Thirteenth Amendment abolished slavery in the United States. That September, the Harvard-trained historian Carter G. Woodson and the prominent minister Jesse E. Moorland founded the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History (ASNLH), an organization dedicated to researching and promoting achievements by black Americans and other peoples of African descent. Known today as the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH), the group sponsored a national Negro History week in 1926, choosing the second week of February to coincide with the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass. Individual Coaching:
This particular coaching will focus on self-esteem, character enhancement, and presentation appearance of you as a whole. Individual coaching is about having the complete package.

Education Coaching:

This aspect will focus on framing the minority society and where they stand in the field of education. Key Points include:
1. How minorities viewed in the school system across the country.
2. Identify with numerous strategies to increase the knowledge of parents.
3. Evaluate changes that are taking place in the school system.

Business Coaching:

This coaching will focus on the small business owner. We will narrow in on the specifications on the need of the business. Identifying the culture and the market that will pertain to the identity of the small business and their main drive.

Entertainment (Music) Coaching:

Nurturing the minds of the independent artist is our focus. Providing knowledge of the music industry by breaking the barriers of both the business and entertainment side of the music industry. The music industry is ninety percent (90%) business and ten percent (10%) music. We will provide information that can be used in all aspects of the business. We will provide tips on how to present yourself at radio/print interviews. Along with how to conduct yourself at venues such as nightclub appearances, college/university performances, speaking engagements, etc.

Frustration

What is Frustration? Why do we get frustrated?

In the midst of frustration what was the reason that caused us to become frustrated. What caused us to become filled with anger, sadness, disappointments?

Personally I find myself getting frustrated lately, but then I have to take a step back and realize that it is not worth it. For the simple fact that I cannot control other people actions.

Sometimes when we over extend ourselves others see it has a standard and not a bonus. We can only improve our well being. When I find myself getting angry I just take a few deep breathes and realize that this battle is not worth it and is my anger really going to solve the problem.

So again I ask you:
